Any ideas on how to decorate around a wall mounted flat screen TV?
My husband is getting a 50 in flat screen for Christmas. He wants to mount it on the wall. Any ideas of how to decorate around/under it?? I’m afraid the wall is going to look bare with only the TV there.
A low storage unit below the tv will suffice to contain your electronics (satellite receiver, dvd, surround sound, etc…). I do not suggest having much for pictures or anything too busy around the tv. Keep it simple and plainly decorated so as not to have the eye wandering away from the focus of the tv when watching it. The tv should not be located too high on the wall (common mistake). A simple piece of metal artwork or nothing above the tv will be fine. You can place your artwork and family/friends pictures on other walls/accent tables. Try having the tv wiring contained in the wall for neatness if possible.
