I’m looking for TV wall mounts I saw advertised on TV?
The mounts were something like just 45 degree angled steel pins. There was four of them you just screw onto the back of the TV. The TV being demoed was a Vizio I think. They screw the pins in to the back of the TV and then they drilled a hole into the the wall at a 45 degree angle. Then they hook it onto the wall and it is suppose to be sturdy. Does anyone know where I can get these pins or what the name of them are?
If you’re putting up a larger TV, this had better be screwed into studs, or you’ll have a smashed TV and a big hole in the wall. I’ve never seen this.
I bought a standard mount where you screw the mounting bracket on the wall with large, heavy duty lag screws and then mount the two brackets on the back of the TV, and just lift it into place. It was very easy to setup and I only paid $49 at BJ’s. I have a 55″ TV.
